I was person who didn’t like cupcake that much because they were always super sweet and over creamery. However this cupcake just blew my stereotypes. I just bought two cupcakes but I really regret that I didn’t get more. Amazingly good! Price was bit high but totally worth it. Server was nice and friendly. Def coming back when I go back to Wilmington.

Being a sweet tooth aficionado, I was in DT Wilmington today and ran across this cool shop called "The Peppered Cupcake". I walked in and in front of me were more than a dozen style of cupcakes. Spoke to the owner, very nice person and knew a lot about the cupcakes she makes. Bought 4 different cupcakes, went home and ate the first one. Pumpkin/Cinnamon which contained Nutmeg, pecans, caramel and cream cheese buttercream...I'm sure there was other good stuff in it. Not too sweet, cake was very moist. If I could give this cupcake a 10/10, I would. I have 3 of the 4 remaining and they look phenominal.

20211029 just got home from a long drive... I got the cupcakes yesterday afternoon, ate 2 hours later, and drove 2 home. About 30 hours after purchase, after dinner, I decided to eat one of the reminder cupcakes, and found the blackberry on one of the cupcakes got moldy. Recommend eating the berry cupcakes right away. Often, when berries are washed, they don't last long. I scooped the berry out, and will eat the cupcake later. It's too good to toss away, plus it was just the berry that got moldy. 20211028 Wow!! I was looking for some desserts and this Cupcake boutique showed up on Google Maps. I accidentally ended up going to this location instead of their other location closer to me. I'm so thankful that there were parking spaces available right in front of the store, otherwise, I would have kept going and head back to the hotel. I have my pups in the car with me. I'm really happy that I did. It was great to meet the beautiful lady who turned out to be the owner. She was so nice and told me about their cupcakes and answered all my questions. I ordered the Taro, Coffee Cream, Berry Cream Pie, and Cream Brulee. The cupcakes were decorated to order. The butter cream is so yummy. I ate the Taro and I couldn't stop eating it. The butter cream was creamy and delicious, and the center if the cupcake is filled with cream. I always share my food with my pups, and one loved the buttercream. I might swing by the other location on my way home tomorrow, if I leave late enough for them to open. Oh, Good Luck, Jonathan Uzcategui!! Please support small businesses!!! Big corporations don't need us; they get their perks from some politicians, elites, deep state, etc... us commoners need to stick together and take care of each other. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

If you are in downtown Wilmington this shop is a MUST!! BEST cupcakes I have ever tasted! Bought 2 dozen of mixed flavors and GF chocolate and strawberry and ALL were delicious! They were on the dessert table for my niece’s bridal shower and everyone loved them! Couldn’t even tell the GF were GF! Moist and full of flavor! I don’t know what her secret is but she definitely has one!

Beautiful place; my wife was looking for anniversary cake for us to eat. We picked 4 delicious cupcakes from this store. Thank you for honoring the Lord Jesus Christ by playing Christian music. The checkout process with the QR code was streamlined. God bless you and your business!

Omg!! This place was so cute. After dinner my daughter and I were walking to our car and ran across this place. We were surprised by the self-checkout/honor system. It was easy to shop and easy to pay. The cupcake was delicious too! We will definitely be back.

Saw the "Cupcakes" sign from the corner and had to go check it out and man are we glad we did!!! A cool variety of flavors already packaged and ready to go. We took ours back to our hotel and enjoyed with a cup of coffee. They were all delicious!

Adorable shop with amazing cupcakes and abundant choices of flavors. We tried 4 different flavors, each were amazing! Definitely a must stop to treat yourself if you're walking around downtown! ❤️ 😍

First time visiting this place earlier in the week. Loved the concept of the honor system. Took me a while to pick what I wanted, but checkout was easy. I bought an Almond Joy for myself and a Delight for my wife (My wife was impressed I found this place). Both were great. The topping was phenomenal without being too sweet. The cake on mine was equally impressive. I am planning on buying more for a party next weekend as should be a unique dessert.
